Track Website Events in Google Analytics:
Track website events is really important aspect for us to find out the users activities deeply on website. Website events tracking in Google Analytics process consist on following steps, Let’s see.
Step 1:
First you need to install Google Analytics by Yoast plugin in your WordPress for the purpose of website events tracking. After installed Google Analytics by Yoast plugin in your WordPress. Now its time to enable events tracking function inside this plugin configurations. Go to WordPress Dashboard >> then Analytics Dashboard, inside Google Analytics by Yoast plugin under the Advance tab choose Events to track download files, pdf, zip etc. See the below image for better understanding.
Step 2:
After do the above same settings, Go to your Google Analytics account Under Reporting option choose Behavior >> Events and now you can see the tracking info here. You can see the right hand side highlighted image parts, where events option is located.
